Once again we see two Biz Ex members working together to aid the growth of their business – A&B Inventory Services Ltd and Bravo Bravo. We talk to both companies about their plans on working together and the benefits of becoming a Biz Ex member.

New kids on the housing block seek branding support from fellow Biz Ex Member

A&B Inventory Services Ltd started in June 2016 by company Directors Sandra Brothwell and Kathleen Anson. It may be a new company but this doesn’t detract from their extensive experience as landlords and their lifelong interest in the property market. They offer a full range of bespoke and independent residential property inventory reports and services for Letting Agents, Landlords and Tenants within Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Sandra adds: “When considering the costs, time and expenditure involved with both the purchase and maintenance of a residential property, most professional landlords would agree that a comprehensive, independent inventory report is an essential tool for successful property management.”

Bravo Bravo is also a new Nottingham business which started in January 2016 and is run by Samuel Hoh and Samuel Clarke, both from traditional design backgrounds. With a love of design they started the business with a vision to provide specialist help in company branding, art direction, photography and web design across the UK. Samuel adds: “We take care of every single step of the design process and we always work closely with our clients, big or small, in one-to-one relationships. We aim to play with new ideas, push our creative boundaries and develop a passion that is then injected into client’s work.”

Biz Ex Networking events are the best place to get new business and make new connections

Sandra and Kathleen initially approached NBV for start-up support and were enrolled onto the Start and Grow programme which also included Biz Ex Membership as one of the benefits. Kathleen adds: “The positive reactions that our business has received from the NBV community have served to increase our confidence in our success.”

Bravo Bravo met A&B inventory Services Ltd at a Biz Ex networking event and offered their services to design their logo and printed material. Samuel adds: “It was great to meet Sandra and Kathleen and we keep updated with how each other’s businesses are going.

We hope they see the value of the service we have provided and it allows them to grow with a strong foundation, which you need when establishing your brand identity.”

Growing and succeeding with a goal to take on more staff

Both Samuels at Bravo Bravo are now working full time in their studio which shows just how quickly their company has grown since starting earlier this year.  Samuel adds: “We’re currently expanding our client base and have been lucky enough to work with some great clients with exciting projects. We hope this is something we can build on in the future.”

Having a clear plan for your business’ growth is key, and Kathleen and Sandra have done just that. They hope that within their first year of business they will establish themselves as a recognised brand and have a strong network in the property sector. And it doesn’t stop there; they want to become a national market leader within the next 5 years!
