Designed specifically for micro and small businesses in the East Midlands, NBV Biz Ex will give local entrepreneurs access to a host of benefits and services including: networking events, media and advertising services and much, much more!

The fully booked launch event took place on a beautiful but wet Autumn evening in David Lane, Nottingham. Event host, Des Coleman commented: “When NBV asked me to host their Biz Ex launch event, I jumped at the chance. NBV has been supporting businesses in the East Midlands for over thirty years, and is truly passionate about what it does. The launch of Biz Ex is just another example of that passion!”

Another benefit for Biz Ex members will be the Biz Pitch; Biz Pitch gives Biz Ex members the opportunity to pitch their business to other members at Biz Ex events. NBV Business Development Co-ordinator Lynsey Blackburn commented: “At the Biz Ex launch, one delegate company was selected at random to pitch their business; that business was Clements Marketing, and online marketing specialist. Future Biz Ex events will provide members with the opportunity to pitch their business to a room full of like-minded individuals.”

NBV CEO Richard Dearden commented: “We were absolutely thrilled that many companies signed up to Biz Ex membership on the night. Running a small business can be very hard and sometimes lonely work. Alongside practical support, Biz Ex will also give members regular access to small business men and women facing similar challenges. The benefits of regular access to those in a similar position simply cannot be overstated.”

The Nottingham launch will be followed by smaller launch events throughout the East Midlands, where some fantastic guest speakers are lined up to keep things lively.
