A Newark-based Lithuanian couple will see their dream to open a traditional restaurant realised, thanks to NBV Enterprise Solutions. The restaurant, called Dainava, will be officially launched on 6th October 2014 by the Lithuanian Attaché for Commercial Affairs, Andrius Nikitinas.
NBV Enterprise Solutions Ltd (NBV) teamed up with Virgin Start-Up Loan delivery in November 2013, offering loans to budding entrepreneurs across the whole of the East Midlands. The loans offer not only financial support, but also mentoring and business advice to thousands.
Dainava’s owners, Daiva Palioniene and Tomas Palionis, covered the cost of equipping and setting up their restaurant with their Virgin Start-Up loan. Daiva commented: “We are so thankful for the help we received from NBV Enterprise Solutions. Their mentor, Beryl Pettitt, walked with us step by step, from the very beginning. We couldn’t have done it without her.”
Richard Dearden, Chief Executive of NBV, said: “We are very pleased to be part of the Virgin solution for entrepreneurs who have a viable business idea, but no access to finance. We see start-up loans as being of huge benefit to people living in the East Midlands who are looking to start their own business. The launch of Dainava really showcases what NBV, and the collaboration with Virgin StartUp, is all about.”
Location: Dainava, 18-20 Sincil Street, Lincoln LN5 7ET.
