Google Partners accredited and NBV Enterprise Centre based The Web Design Group are celebrating after recently being recognised by Google in a nationwide web agency competition.

The internet marketing and AdWords specialists ranked in the top 5% of agencies and were awarded a range of prizes including t-shirts, mugs and Google Play gift cards for their efforts.

Google’s Legends of Rock challenge offered incentives for Google Partner advertising and marketing agencies to continue to thrive and grow their client base and results were based on new client spend through AdWords.

The partnership scheme aims to support agencies that work in collaboration with small and medium companies in the UK. Becoming an accredited partner of Google is no easy feat though and those who manage to fit into guidelines are recognised with the official Google Partners badge.

This badge is proof that agencies work to best practices and adhere to the guidelines and factors outlined by Google. Some of the qualifying factors for badged agencies are based on scores of accounts that agencies manage, along with having a specific number of staff members qualified and accredited in the Google AdWords exams.

The Web Design Group has seen an influx of new business and this steady flow of new clients helped to see them officially rewarded by arguably one of the most influential technology companies in the world.
