Long standing tenant and NBV client Affari Media Ltd were in the party spirit this week as they celebrate 5 successful years in business! The team decided to celebrate the milestone with a children’s party themed celebration, complete with party games, school chairs, and a dazzlingly bright buffet of food, not to mention a visit from Robin Hood himself! Speaking after the event, Marketing Manager Emma Gleaden commented “Our birthday celebrations were as weird and wonderful as we are! But it was a chance to show our clients, partners and suppliers our appreciation for supporting us over the last 5 years and say thank you in our own unique way, we wouldn’t be where we are today without them.”
Craig Brothers formed Affari Media Ltd in 2012 with Ben Hankin, initially taking up residence in NBV’s Mercury House, and the pair began recruiting staff shortly afterwards. Affari have now grown from a two-man band to a team of 22, and show no signs of slowing down! A recent move into NBV Enterprise Centre’s largest open-plan office has helped facilitate the company’s expansion. Marketing Manager Emma Gleaden commented “NBV Enterprise Centre have provided us with the space and facilities required to expand our team, so we can direct all of our focus and efforts into developing our company without the extra worries that come with owning property and infrastructure. This in turn has helped our design agency to receive an award-winning status and achieve monumental success in what is such a short space of time for our business.”
Affari continue to grow and recruit locally, having made the Nottingham Jobs Pledge with Nottingham City Council and through also working closely with Nottingham Trent University.
