NBV are delighted to announce that an ambitious NBV Project has been shortlisted by NatWest (Skills and Opportunities Fund) for possible funding to start in January 2017. But only the public can decide who is fortunate enough to win.

The NBV Project – ‘Business-means-Business’ – will finance a specialist team to work in Secondary Schools across Nottinghamshire – usually located within economically disadvantaged wards – to support careers days which crucially, have a key focus on the development of enterprising skills.

Developing enterprising behaviours is an excellent way to encourage young people to acquire those core and key skills which are universally acknowledged as being critical for their future; such as literacy, numeracy, problem solving, decision making, confidence building and presentation skills. Our target is to reach 1,000 young people between January and July 2017, working in local Schools with 14 to 16 year olds. But we need your votes to get this project off the ground!

All you have to do if you would like to help, is submit your vote here or read more about the Project, at this link here http://skillsandopportunitiesfund.rbs.com/vote.html.

Our sincere thanks in anticipation of your support.
