Abbey Warren Retreat Ltd, led by Bhavika Kane and her husband Mark, is poised to elevate the concept of wellness retreats with the expansion of their offerings. Building upon the success of Swim Blue, a private swimming pool facility in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, the company is venturing into the glamping industry. Supported by NBV’s Business Adviser, John Owens, Abbey Warren Retreat aims to establish a glamping site with accompanying spa facilities, including an outdoor plunge pool.
The decision to expand into glamping and spa facilities stems from Abbey Warren Retreat’s commitment to providing holistic wellness experiences. Recognising the growing demand for immersive retreats that promote relaxation and rejuvenation, the company seeks to diversify its offerings beyond Swim Blue and tap into the flourishing market of wellness tourism.
In an expanding market of glamping accommodations, Abbey Warren Retreat faces the challenge of standing out amidst competition. Moreover, the establishment of spa facilities requires significant investment in infrastructure and amenities, posing financial constraints to the expansion project.
To address these challenges, Abbey Warren Retreat applied and was successfully awarded a small business grant administered by NBV funded through UK Shared prosperity Fund.
By embracing innovation, sustainability, and community engagement, the company sets itself apart in the competitive landscape of wellness tourism. With Swim Blue serving as a cornerstone of their success, Abbey Warren Retreat is poised to become a premier destination for relaxation, rejuvenation, and holistic wellness.
