Course Content:

The future belongs to the creative. Over the next five sessions, we will teach you creative skills that will help you grow yourselves as a leader and your organisations.

We will look at the following creative topics:

• Having an idea and validating it
• Critical thinking – the evaluation of a problem or opportunity to an issue in order to form a judgment
• Creativity – the use of imagination or original ideas to create something
• Building a brand – position, promises and preparation
• Collaboration – with your colleagues and customers
• Communication – how to teach and amplify your work

Guest Speaker: Tim Elliott

Tim is a long-time student and practitioner of human-centered design and how this style of creative thinking can help businesses do better work and do work better.

He’s been swimming in the sea of this type of creative strategy work for over 23 years and has worked everywhere from the client-side, agency-side, as well as operated a successful agency himself, which means over the last couple of decades, Tim has been at the table having strategic conversations with 1000’s of businesses and leaders—helping them engage and understand that creativity is not only human but scaleable.

**This event is delivered in partnership with Newark & Sherwood District Council so priority will be given to businesses in this area.
