On Wednesday, July 20th, 2016 the LEP will be hosting two workshops at the Lincolnshire Showground to promote the European Regional Development Programme (ERDF):
10.30am to 12:30pm
Priority Axis 4: Supporting the shift towards a low-carbon economy
An indicative budget of £7m has been allocated. This call will aim to move England’s economy towards a low-carbon model by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing the share of renewable energy and enhancing the energy efficiency of homes, businesses and transport.
1.30pm to 3:30pm
Priority Axis 6: Preserving and protecting the environment and promoting resource efficiency
An indicative budget of £2.2m has been allocated. The call aims to help the reverse the decline and restore and enhance degraded ecosystems, to halt overall biodiversity loss, and to help businesses optimise the use of resources in ways that improve business performance and contribute to the protection and preservation of the environment.
ERDF funding is open to local authorities, statutory and non-statutory public funded organisations, higher and further education institutions, voluntary and community organisations, private companies, registered charities and not-for-profit organisations.
They will have a national team of representatives who will be attending the event to support a Q&A session to discuss project specific ideas either in an open forum or individually after the workshop.
