About the Speaker: Peter Vaughan
I am a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and before joining Nottingham Law School and NLS Legal I spent nearly 10 years working for a leading firm of trade mark and patent attorneys advising client’s as to how to protect their Intellectual Property and in particular their trade marks. I have experience of IP in a wide range of sectors from retail, publishing, biotechnology, and education. My work spanned right across the spectrum of trade mark work from helping small and medium sized enterprises protect their trade marks through to the enforcement or defence of trade mark rights at the Intellectual Property Office. I am currently a lecturer at Nottingham Law School as well as a supervisor at NLS Legal providing IP advice to a variety of clients with a focus on IP identification and contentious matters.
