Planning for change: Mitigating the risks and offsetting hidden costs

July 7, 2021 @ 10:30 am - 1:30 pm BST

With emergence from lockdown and furlough coming to an end in September; businesses can and should start planning their business activity and resourcing, particularly as the economy starts to re-open again. With this comes the re-sizing and shaping of workforces. Is your business prepared for the re-opening of the economy?

Wondering how to embark on change and transformation in your business? Not sure how to balance the aims and needs of the business with those of the people involved to ensure the changes are implemented smoothly?

During this half day workshop session; we’ll help you best prepare by covering the following:

  • Understand the legal risks and costs associated with managing restructures: the worst case scenarios
  • Learn from others by accessing employment case studies
  • Apply your own approaches and strategies to real-life case studies
  • Gain insights into organisational approaches and shortfalls
  • Understand the people’s viewpoint – individual challenges and needs during transition
  • Access strategies to mitigate against the risks and support people through transitions
  • Discuss learning and approaches to managing change and the people impact
  • Go away from the session empowered to plan to ensure your business builds back better by tackling tough business decisions head on whilst reducing your risk.

The session will include delegate interaction and breakout discussions exploring legal case studies and reflections on managing people through change as well as developing strategies for the future.
